Level 1-3 Surf Instructors
Pay: Competitive Pay. Will be disclosed during interview.
Description:
Responsible for teaching students of all ages with varying levels of experience how to surf, ocean safety, and surf etiquette.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide an outstanding, safe, and educational experience to students on land and in the water
Works directly under the supervision of the senior instructors
Explain and demonstrate proper surfing techniques and equipment care
Prepare clients for a safe experience by providing thorough introductions to equipment and safety requirements
Perform equipment inspections to ensure the safety of clients and other surfers/swimmers
Maintain strong communication with owners, camp supervisor, and other instructional staff
Ensure all equipment is properly removed and stored after use, including the removal of any staff/camper belongings and trash.
Maintain a friendly, fun and professional attitude at all times
Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced surf experience preferred
CPR and First Aid certification required (can attain after hiring)
